The bathroom could benefit from a more modern touch!!! some areas of the hotel are looking a bit worn-down and in need of refreshing. A little attention to decor would go a long way!!!

The room's four-poster bed added a quaint charm, making it feel like stepping into another era. The spacious pub area had a cozy log fire, creating a welcoming environment for relaxation.
The refurbishment of the room leaned towards a cold color palette with furnishings that felt comfortable but unattractive. An unresponsive hot tap and a poorly draining bath detracted from comfort, while overlooked housekeeping left the hall stairs looking dirty. The breakfast, while plentiful in coffee and pleasant scrambled eggs, featured tired smoked salmon that fell short of expectations, particularly for the steep price of £279.

It was a reliable pick for a weekend break in Tetbury with good value. The breakfast included freshly cooked eggs benedict which was nice. Be prepared for a dated room and check if everything is functional before settling in.
